World One in Mumbai

World One is a supertall residential skyscraper under construction in Mumbai, India. It is located in Lower Parel, South Mumbai on the 7.1-hectare (17.5-acre) site of the defunct Shrinivas Mill. The site also houses two other towers—World View and World Crest. World One is being built at an estimated cost of over US$321 million. Construction began in 2011, and is expected to be completed in 2018. It will be the tallest residential tower in the world, if completed before Pentominium (whose construction has been put on hold following the effects of the 2008 Financial Crisis). World One‘s architect is Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, the structural engineer is Leslie E. Robertson Associates & MEP engineer is BuroHappold Engineers. The World Crest is a 57 floor residential tower with a height of 223 metres. Construction on the tower began in 2011, and was completed in 2016.
