The
Bulgarian Black Sea Coast , also known as the
Bulgarian Riviera , covers the entire eastern bound of
Bulgaria stretching from the
Romanian Black Sea resorts in the north to
European Turkey in the south, along 378 km of coastline. White and golden sandy
beaches occupy approximately 130 km of the 378 km long
coast . The region is an important center of tourism during the summer season (May–October), drawing millions of foreign and local tourists alike and constituting one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. Prior to 1989 the Bulgarian Black Sea coast was internationally known as the
Red Riviera . Since the
fall of the Iron Curtain , however, its nickname has been changed to the
Bulgarian Riviera .

The Highland Main Line is a railway line in
Scotland . It is 118 mi (190 km) long and runs through the central
Scottish Highlands , mainly following the route of the
A9 , and linking a series of small towns and villages with
Perth at one end and
Inverness at the other. Today, services between Inverness and
Edinburgh ,
Glasgow and
London use the line. At Inverness the line connects with the
Far North Line , the
Aberdeen-Inverness Line and the
Kyle of Lochalsh Line . All trains are diesel-powered.

Basilicata, also known by its ancient name
Lucania , is an administrative
region in
Southern Italy , bordering on
Campania to the west,
Apulia to the north and east, and
Calabria to the south. It has two coastlines: a 30-km stretch on the
Tyrrhenian Sea between Campania and Calabria, and a longer coastline along the
Gulf of Taranto between Calabria and Apulia. The region can be thought of as the “instep” of Italy, with Calabria functioning as the “toe” and Apulia the “heel”.
