Bayfront Park is a 32-acre (13 ha) public, urban park in DowntownMiami, Florida on Biscayne Bay. The park began construction in 1924 under the design plans of Warren Henry Manning and officially opened in March 1925. Beginning in 1980, it underwent a major redesign by Japanese-American modernist artist and landscape architect, Isamu Noguchi. Bayside Marketplace is a marketplace in DowntownMiami. It is located between the Bayfront Park to the south end, and the American Airlines Arena to the North. As its name suggests, it wraps along the banks of the bay wall. Different from typical shopping malls, Bayside offers an entertainment experience with live music daily, restaurants, bars, open-container policy, family events, and the picturesque settings that come with a waterfront property.
