Volvic is a commune in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne in central France, with a population of 4,600 inhabitants. The municipality is located in the Riom arrondissement and there within the Canton of Riom-Ouest. The church at Volvic is dedicated to “St Priest” (Projectus), who is reputed to have been killed here in 676 AD.   read more…
