Harar (Amharic: ???; Harari: ??? / ??????; Oromo: Adare Biyyo; Somali: Herer; Arabic: ???), known historically by the indigenous as Harar-Gey or simply Gey (Harari: ??, ?????, G?y, lit.: ‘the city’), is a walled city in eastern Ethiopia.
