The Ardèche (Occitan: Ardecha) is a 125-kilometre (78 mi) long river in south-central France, a right-bank tributary of the River Rhône. Its source is in the Massif Central, near the village of Astet. It flows into the Rhône near Pont-Saint-Esprit, north-west of Orange. The river gives its name to the French department of Ardèche.   read more…

Castres (Castras in the Languedocian dialect of Occitan) is the sole subprefecture of the Tarn department in the Occitanie region in Southern France. Tulle is a commune and capital of the Corrèze département in the Limousin region in central France on the west side of the Massif Central. It is also the episcopal see of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulle. It is the third-largest town in the Limousin region, after Limoges and Brive-la-Gaillarde. Saint-Étienne is a city in eastern central France. It is located in the Massif Central, 60 km (37.28 mi) southwest of Lyon in the Rhône-Alpes region, along the trunk road that connects Toulouse with Lyon.
