Expo 2025 is a World Expo organised and sanctioned by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), which will be held in Osaka, Japan. It will take place for six months during 2025, opening 13 April 2025 and closing 13 October 2025, for a total of 184 days. This will be the second time Osaka hosts a World Expo, having previously hosted Expo 1970. The event will return to its traditional 5-year scheduling cycle after the 2020 edition was delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Himeji Castle in Japan

Himeji Castle is a hilltop Japanese castle complex situated in Himeji, a city in the Hy?go Prefecture of Japan. The castle is regarded as the finest surviving example of prototypical Japanese castle architecture, comprising a network of 83 rooms with advanced defensive systems from the feudal period. The castle is frequently known as Hakuro-j? or Shirasagi-j? (“White Egret Castle” or “White Heron Castle”) because of its brilliant white exterior and supposed resemblance to a bird taking flight.   read more…
