Villa Borsig Reiherwerder in Berlin

The Borsig Villa Reiherwerder is a former country house belonging to the Borsig family of Berlin entrepreneurs. It is located on the 12.37-hectare Reiherwerder peninsula on the northwest shore of Lake Tegel, which is part of the Berlin district of Reinickendorf. Today, along with the neighboring buildings, it belongs to the Foreign Service Academy of the Federal Foreign Office, where all members of the middle, senior, and higher Foreign Service have been trained since the beginning of 2006. The villa itself serves as a guest house for the Federal Foreign Office. Directly north of the villa, facing the water, is a neo-Baroque garden (Garden monument of the Borsig Country House).
