Besides several Shopping Centres and Major Shopping Areas which you find across the city area, especially in Schwabing and in the inner city you will find a lot of possibilities to exchange your hard earned money easily and in every dimension against products of any kind. Here you will find some hints and ideas for Shopping “Typical Munich”. It’s fun to stroll shops around the Marienplatz, Maximilianstraße, at the Viktualienmarkt, Sendlinger-, Hohenzollern- und Maximilianstraße and of course through the smaller and bigger boutiques and stores away from the main tourist routes.

Whether you are a party person or rather prefer a couple of drinks in a relaxed bar – Munich has something to offer for everyone. Of course like in any other city the hip locations change all the time. But there are a couple of places that have been popular for a long time now or are just classics of Munich’s night life. Here you can learn more about Bars and clubbing in Munich. You shouldn’t miss a visit at Hofbräuhaus and Feinkost Käfer.

To inform you about latest news most of the city, town or tourism websites offer a newsletter service and/or operate Facepage pages/Twitter accounts. There are several ways to find information about actual events, e.g. by visiting the official Partys in Munich calendar or the free city magazines In München and munichx.de.
