Sainte-Rose (Guadeloupean Creole: Sentwòz) is a commune in the department of Guadeloupe. It is the second largest commune of Guadeloupe, in terms of area, after Petit-Bourg. Sainte-Rose lies on the coast of the island of Basse-Terre.

Sainte-Rose is located in the north of the island of Basse-Terre on the coast of the Caribbean Sea. Neighbouring communities are Lamentin to the southeast, Pointe-Noire to the southwest and Deshaies to the west.

Tourism is an important economic factor. But the cultivation of sugar cane for the production of Rhum agricole, which is produced in two local distilleries, also plays a major role.

Slightly confusing: While the television series Deadly Tropics with Commander Sainte-Rose is being filmed on Martinique, the television series Death in Paradise is being filmed in Deshaises, the neighboring town of Sainte-Rose.
