Mechanicsville is a small village in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. Located at the intersection of Durham Road (Pennsylvania Route 413) and Mechanicsville Road. Mechanicsville is an unincorporated village. The historic portion of the village center was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The historic village center of Mechanicsville is a well-preserved example of early 19th century settlement in Bucks County. The town was first known for its local craftsmen and later for the Samuel Wilson Seed Company.

The village experienced its first boom in 1803 with the extension of the Durham Road to Lumberville. Lumberville is located on the Delaware River and already had a road connection to Doylestown. The village did not develop around a tavern or mill, as was often the case, but rather because of the local craftsmen (mechanics). Therefore, the village was renamed Mechanicsville in 1830. In the second half of the 19th century, there were five blacksmiths, four shoemakers, three carpenters, a wheelwright and a tailor.

In the early 20th century, the place did not develop significantly. It remained a small village at the crossroads. Most of the village was bought up by Samuel Wilson. Wilson focused more on the development of agriculture and less on other economic sectors.
