Le Castellet is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France. It is mostly a small feudal village perched on a cliff edge.

It is situated north-west of Toulon next to La Cadière-d’Azur and Le Beausset. It is surrounded by vineyards and is part of the Côtes de Provence Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) of Bandol.

Le Castellet was the setting for the film La femme du boulanger (The Baker’s Wife) starring Raimu directed by writer/director Marcel Pagnol.

The Paul Ricard Circuit is a motorsport race track built in 1969, with finance from the eccentric Pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Ricard wanted to experience the challenge of building a highway. Aéroport International du Castellet, hotels and restaurants are located in the direct neighbourhood.
