full-rigged ships in a series of
sister ships designed by the Polish sailing ship designer
Zygmunt Chore? and was built at the Polish
Lenin Shipyard in
Gda?sk .
Druzhba ‘s sister ships are Mir , Pallada , Khersones , Dar M?odzie?y and Nadezhda .

The
Druzhba was also used by tourists; there is a restaurant and two bars. The ship sailed in Greek and Turkish waters in the summer and in the
Red Sea in the winter.
After the operating company went bankrupt, the ship was chained up in
Limassol for three years. In February 2001, the ship left Limassol and sailed to Odessa, where it remains to this day. It is still used for training cadets, but is no longer seaworthy. Around half a million euros are needed to make the ship seaworthy again.
