Experience our planet’s diversity in a few hours. We take you on a fascinating journey through the different climate zones of the world. The Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8° Ost is a unique world of knowledge und experience, focused on climate and weather. The fascinating exhibition in Bremerhaven offers you the possibility to travel along the eighth degree of logitude. You will pass through different countries and continents. The Klimahaus also shows you our perspectives for the future and gives you an idea of the opportunities we have. Our weather studio explains to you how extreme our weather can be. How will our climate change? What can we do to protect our planet?

A journey around the world beginning and ending in Bremerhaven, always following the 8th degree of longitude! Travel around the world within an area of 5000 sqm: pass though a whole range of climate zones and encounter people whose daily lives are profoundly influenced by each prevalent climate. Experience extremes of temperature and discover fascinating creatures and plants. Interactive exhibits help visitors to literally grasp even complex interdependencies in the climatic system of the Earth.
