MS Bremen, is an expedition cruise ship operated by Hapag Lloyd since 1993. She was built as Frontier Spirit at the Mitsubishi Shipyard in Kobe, Japan, in 1990.

A previously uncharted island in the Antarctic was discovered by Bremen in 2003, and was named Bremen Island in 2004. In 2006 she successfully ran the Northwest Passage, helped by satellite images telling where sea ice was.

Her home port is Nassau in the Bahamas. The capacity is at 155 passengers. 100 crew members take care of them. The Bremen operates in the category 4-star plus. The polar regions in particular offer the Bremen the opportunity to make full use of her advantages as an expedition ship. Small and manoeuvrable, with ashallow draught and the highest ice class for passenger ships, the Bremen is in her element in the Arctic and Antarctica, allowing unforgettable experiences in the expanse of the eternal ice.

However, extraordinary discoveries are also guaranteed when the Bremen approaches the tropical regions or during aspectacular expedition along the Chilean Fjords. SmalI, flexible, individual- aboard the Bremen, every day is surprisingly different.
